WHEN ART ENHANCES BEER, EACH LUPULUS IS UNIQUE

Each Lupulus brew has its own characteristics. The brewery has designed a special beer to accompany a meal or a moment in life. From blond to fruity to winter, Lupulus is a mood, a way of celebrating and coming together.

A little history

The brewery “Les 3 Fourquets” was born in 2003. Originally established to supply kegs of malted beverages to the neighboring pub, the brewery decided in 2007 to create a new beer, “Lupulus,” which would be served in champagne bottles as well as in kegs. The goal was to market it in the region. It was none other than Pierre Gobron, accompanied by his sons, Julien and Tim, who, along with their team, envisioned beers that have become icons in the province of Luxembourg. In 2016, the brewery “Les 3 Fourquets” became the “Lupulus” Brewery.

The primary desire of the brewers was to design a beer brewed in strict accordance with traditions but nonetheless endowed with quite unique and new olfactory and gustatory touches, in brewing equipment that is among the most modern in Belgium. The exceptional setting where the brewery develops its activities could only inspire these “barley craftsmen.” Since then, the Lupulus product range has continued to grow, offering ever more flavors and moments of celebration.

Our values

At a time when not even our ancestors had seen them, wolves populated the quiet, rugged spaces of the beautiful Ardennes. It is said that these hordes came from Slovenia, where the best hops in the world are produced.

True or false? Whatever the case, a thoroughbred beer was born with the wolf as its symbol: ‘Lupulus’. The name comes from the Latin name for the hop – Humulus Lupulus – which literally means “Humble Little Wolf”.

Today, quality, internationally recognised local production and eco-responsibility are an integral part of the values upheld by the brand.
